Target protector, perhaps [7]

I love clues that make ordinary jobs somehow sound so much loftier. This clue also benefits from placing Target at the front, which masks the fact that it’s referring to the department store and not, say, a bull’s eye. In all, it’s a brilliant way to refer to the often derided MALL COP.
